Mattel Inc. has just released a gender neutral doll collection called Creatable World that can be mixed and matched without labels or limits.
"In our world, dolls are as limitless as the kids who play with them. Introducing Creatable World™, a doll line designed to keep labels out and invite everyone in—giving kids the freedom to create their own customizable characters again and again. " - Mattel Inc.
The dolls themselves range in clothing options, hair options and feature, brown, black, white and more with one hundred plus looks, according to the website.
If you don't know Mattel Inc. then you probably just don't have a face to the name. Mattel is known for their iconic creation of Barbie in 1959, as well as Hot wheels, Fisher Price, American Girls and more.
These classics are now evolving into the needs of the changing world by giving children of all ethnicities and sexualities a chance to be whomever they wish with a toy companion to reflect it. Mattel said they worked with doctors, parents and children to create the thirty dollar doll line.
The enthusiasm for Mattel's creation does not sit with everyone however. People are objecting on twitter suggesting that the toy company gave into pressure.
We are all about opinions but what about the children? How about it #Gayes? What do you think of Mattel Inc.'s brave new step? To purchase a doll in a store near you, go to https://www.mattel.com/en-us/creatable-world .
