The proclaimed first Black, gay movie star Colman Domingo continues to be booked and busy! Known for his previous roles in Rustin, The Color Purple, Zola, & Euphoria, the Emmy award-winning talent boasts an impressive track record.
Now in his latest project, The Madness, Academy Award nominee Domingo plays the role of media pundit Muncie Daniels who must fight for his innocence and his life after he stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos woods. In the face of intensifying danger, Muncie strives to connect with his estranged family - and his lost ideals - in order to make it out alive.
The eight-episode mini series is created by Stephen Belber (O.G., The Laramie Project), who serves as the series co-showrunner alongside VJ Boyd (Justified, S.W.A.T). The Madness is also executive produced by Director Clément Virgo, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Kaitlin Dahill. In addition to Virgo, Quyen Tran and Jessica Lowrey will also serve as directors to the anticipated thriller.
Accompanying Colman Domingo in the cast are Marsha Stephanie Blake, Gabrielle Graham, John Ortiz, Tamsin Topolski, & TJ Mixon.
