Deviant, the premier inclusive event series for the Black and Brown queer community, is launching a new division called Counter Culture.
Counter Culture, the nonprofit arm of Deviant, is committed to creating spaces that promote the health and wellness of Black and Brown queer individuals. To celebrate this launch, Deviant is partnering with Men Having Babies for their upcoming conference. The collaboration is a natural fit, as both organizations are dedicated to fostering strong and supportive communities.
The Men Having Babies conference will be held from February 21-23 in Atlanta, GA. This transformative event offers essential resources and expert guidance for queer individuals exploring surrogacy and parenthood. For many in our community, the dream of starting a family can feel out of reach, but this conference provides the tools, education, and support needed to make that dream a reality.
Surrogacy is more than a path to parenthood–it’s a step toward creating stability, fulfillment, and well-being. Through its partnership with Men Having Babies, Deviant is helping to ensure our community has access to these life-changing opportunities, breaking down barriers, and building a future where family and love take center stage.
The collaboration goes beyond providing resources–it’s about affirming that Black and Brown queer individuals deserve equal access to joy, connection, and family-building as anyone else. Deviant is proud to play an active role in this vital work and looks forward to the positive impact it will create.
