Indya Moore is slated to become the next scream Queen in the latest installment in the “Escape Room” franchise, starring in “Escape Room: Tournament of Champions” wither her character Brianna. She stars alongside returning stars Taylor Russel, playing Zoey, Logan Miller, and newest stars Holland Taylor, Thomas Cocquerel and Carlito Olivero.
Moore first hit the scene with her breakout roll as Angel Evangelista in POSE, where she plays a Puerto Rican street walker taken in by Blanca Rodriguez-Evangelista. Since the hit show, Times named Moore as one of the 100 most influential people back in 2019. Moore is transgender and nonbinary, and goes by they/them and she/her pronouns.
In the trailer below, we meet Brianna in a seemingly normal subway ride with all the main cast, when the car they are in suddenly disconnects from the rest of the train and they realize they are back in the game they all hoped to escape.
"Escape Room: Tournament of Champions" is a follow up film of the 2019 horror flick "Escape Room" which followed six strangers into a game they soon discover is truly life or death.
