Kylie Jenner has teamed up with Olivier Rousteing to launch a capsule collection which will feature an eye shadow palette, lip liner & lip gloss.
Olivier Rousteing, the creative director for Balmain, has announced on Tuesday that the luxury fashion house will be collaborating with Kylie, just in time for the spring 2020 runway show.
Kylie Jenner will also serve as artistic director for the makeup looks on the catwalk. She will also be backstage looking over the beauty team guiding them.
The collection will include a sparkly dazzling pink lip gloss for $16, a matte lip kit with pink liquid lipstick and brownish-nude lip liner for $29 and an eye-shadow palette with nine powder shades priced at $42. The lip kit will also be sold as a bundle with the lip gloss for $38, while the bundle of the full collection will retail for $75. The collection is available for purchase at the Balmain store in Paris.
"Launching Balmain cosmetics with Kylie allows us to gain a foothold in cosmetics in a totally unconventional way," Rousteing said in an interview with WWD. "Usually, people work with cosmetics giants, but we're doing it on a more intimate scale, because it's based on friendship."
No doubt the shared Instagram clout doesn't hurt either. The collection is available for purchase at the Balmain store in Paris.
