The Brazilian drag sensation Vittar took on the red carpet Nov. 3rd as the main attraction at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Seville, Spain.
Phabullo Rodrigues da Silva aka Pabllo Vittar is a Brazilian drag queen, singer and songwriter who has obviously been taking over the spot light. Vittar has become the first drag queen to win the MTV European artist award. The category was for "Best Brazilian Artist".
Pabllo dedicated the award to his fans, receiving congratulations from drag notables, Shangela, Valentina, Miss Fame, Manila Luzon and Heidi Klum. This drag queen has broken records worldwide, being the most followed drag queen on Instagram at a whopping 9.4m followers.
Pabllo hit the scene appearing on TV for the first time in 2014. He performed on the TV show singing "I Have Nothing" by Whitney Huston. Pabllo became well known because of his amazing looks and talent. He became successful in the media with the production of his music video "Open Bar", which was the Portuguese version of Major Lazer's song "Lean On".
Pabllo is also an advocate for the LGBTQ community in his country. With Brazil being the most dangerous country for the LGBTQ community it is astonishing that he managed to top the charts. In the past two years he has been nominated for 27 awards and won 7, which included Best New Artist and a Latin Grammy.
Nov. 1st is Pabllo's birthday and ironically he dropped part of her Trilingual album, Titled 111. The album introduces flowing in different three languages. It is proven that Pabllo is pure talent and has many more awards to come in the future.
