Queer Eye's, Jonathan Van Ness came out on Twitter to support Elizabeth Warren who is running for president in the 2020 election.
“To be clear I’m on literally one daily pill to manage my HIV infection...It cost $3500 to replace them out of pocket with ‘amazing’ platinum level insurance,” Van Ness wrote. “Healthcare shouldn’t be for profit ever, it’s a human right.”
Elizabeth Warren is working towards lower costs for drugs, HIV research, the repeal of HIV Discrimination Act and approves of Medicare-for-All.
Jonathan, who is non-binary, though uses he/him pronouns found that he aligned better with Warren and her ambitions than other candidates such as Bernie Sanders or Pete Buttigieg, the only queer presidential candidate.
