Love is in the air for Pride month and artist Syd Tha Kyd isn't afraid to show it.
Fans got a chance to witness Syd and her newlywed wife Ariana Simone in their element on stage Thursday night in Boston during her Broken Hearts Club tour. According to Mac Millan, a fan who attended the concert, Simone was Syd's videographer capturing moments for an on-tour vlog.
The crowd went wild when Syd made the surprising announcement where she then brought Simone on stage during her single "Right Track". Fans sang along in awe as Syd leaned heavily into Simone while she sang the lyrics, "Wife That".
Thursday night (Jun. 16) the singer did not shy away from voicing the good news. It all happened so fast fans were only able to snap a picture of the beautiful couple sharing the stage as if they were the only two in the room. Thanks to Millan, whose photo was shared via Twitter with over 20.2 k likes, the lesbian community is now in shambles.
One fan responded to the news in utter disbelief.
"So you mean to tell me she married that lady without even breaking it off with me first. I'm about to climb in a hole."
Another fan was in favor of canceling pride month after hearing the news.
"Nah. You can keep the happy pride after breaking my heart and telling me that my studsband wifed someone else."
Essence shared from April of this year, Syd and Simone's love story. Simone first appeared in Syd's single, "Fast Car" from the actual Broken Hearts Club Album.
"Well, the love interest in that video is my actual girlfriend [Ariana Simone] in real life...We’ve been together now for about a year and a half. So it was pretty easy and she’s a model full time. She knows what to do in front of cameras. It was probably the most fun I’ve had shooting a video because it was a small crew, just me and her in my car. It was a comfortable experience."

According to The Guardian, The Broken Hearts Club is her last record with her Columbia Label. With two more tour stops to go (Michigan and Minnesota), You can look forward to a new vlog with a new record label alongside her new wife in the near future.
