Trans woman Muhlaysia Booker, primarily known after a video went viral of her being jumped in a Dallas neighborhood, was found shot dead. According to NBCDF the Dallas police responded to a call of a gun shot at 7200 block of Valley Glen Drive around 6:40 a.m. Saturday, May 18th. Booker, 23, was later identified and confirmed dead of a gunshot wound.
Though an arrest was made during the assault last month, police have neither identified a suspect or confirmed there was a connection between her assailants and her death.
