Transphobia and the anonymity of the Internet make for a horrendous combination. Last week, activist Ashlee Marie Preston experienced this firsthand when someone hacked her Wikipedia page and changed the she/her pronouns to he/him pronouns.
Ashlee took to Twitter to respond: "It’s going to take more than a transphobic simpleton hacking my Wikipedia page and adding male pronouns to my bio for me to withdraw my support from Elizabeth Warren. It’ll just make me fight harder for her because she’s also fighting for Black trans women like me."
